The Amhurst Premier Series offers sixteen different floor plans ranging in size from 1,624 to 3,224 square feet. Amhurst Premier features homes ranging from $155,000 and $199,500 with three to four bedrooms, two to four bathrooms, and 55’ x 120’ lots. Homes in the Amhurst Patriot Series cost between $140,000 and $180,000 and range in size from 1,414 to 2,701 square feet. The Amhurst Patriot Series includes five single-story plans and nine two-story plans. Amhurst Patriot build sites are approximately 50’ by 120.’ Several oversized home sites in Amhurst are also available for those who love to garden or who want a big back yard to hold barbecues and play around in.
The third series, Amhurst Americana, is currently sold out. Amhurst Americana is largely identical to Amhurst Patriot, except Amhurst Americana homes have all siding and no brick, unlike their Amhurst Patriot counterparts, at least some of which feature partial brick exteriors.

Amhurst's students are serviced by Northside Independent School District, which includes Stevens High School, Gregory Luna Middle School, and Paul W. Ott Elementary. During the last school year, all of the Northside ISD's schools were rated at least academically acceptable and many were rated exemplary. Specifically, the Northside ISD has forty-two exemplary schools, thirty-seven recognized schools, and only ten academically acceptable schools. Students continue to score higher than the state average at every grade level and in every subject area. In addition, Paul W. Ott Elementary is only a half a mile away from Amhurst, and there are two brand new schools to serve Amhurst’s resident children: Behlau Elementary and Brennan High School.
Some major employers mere minutes away from Amhurst include QVC San Antonio, American Funds, the Medical Center at 151 and Military Drive, Chase, Citigroup, and Wells Fargo. Amhurst’s largest employer is the closest military base, Lackland Air Force Base, which is less than fifteen miles away, which still puts it well within reach of a daily commute for the Amhurst residents who work there.
Within a mile of Amhurst there is an HEB, a Wal-Mart, and a Kohl’s. Amhurst is very convenient to the Potranco Village Shopping Center, an eight hundred thousand square foot shopping complex is scheduled to be built at 1604 and Potranco as well. Amhurst residents will never be without a place to shop.the Alamo Ranch Shopping Center, Ingram Park Mall, and Westlakes Mall. The Bandera Pointe Shopping Center, The Rim and at The Shops La Cantera are a little further away, but are still very accessible to Amhurst residents. The Amhurst neighborhood also has many recreational facilities nearby, including gyms, golf courses, Fiesta Texas and Sea World.
