Enjoy the country lifestyle living in Caracol Creek, Northwest San Antonio, Texas. Visit Caracol Creek, KB Homes newest and beautiful growing subdivision of about 600 homes, located off Loop 1604 and Potranco Road. Caracol Creek offers many distinctive floor plans. The Caracol Creek community is still in the building stages and there is plenty of room for growth, with a plan for a total of 950 homes when it is complete. Whether you want to build or purchase a home that has already been built, KB Homes has a home for you in Caracol Creek, which means there is still plenty of opportunity to not only snag a brand new house in Caracol Creek, but pick out your lot too. Caracol Creek does not have a pool and getting one is not feasible. They do have a park with industrial play equipment, a basketball court, a picnic area, and there are plans for a dog walking park and other future improvements.

Caracol Creek offers a community with NO San Antonio city taxes, equates to about a $600 a year savings. This does mean that there is no trash pickup and you must pay a private company for trash pickup, this is about $20-$25 a month.

The Caracol Creek KB Homes offers twentyfive different floor plans ranging in size from 1,194 to 3,635 square feet. Caracol Creek homes features ranging from $155,000 and $199,500 with three to four bedrooms, two to four bathrooms, and 55’ x 120’ lots. Homes in the Caracol Creek cost between $140,000 and $180,000 and range in size from 1,414 to 2,701 square feet. The Caracol Creek Patriot Series includes five single-story plans and nine two-story plans. Caracol Creek Patriot build sites are approximately 50’ by 120.’ Several oversized home sites in Caracol Creek are also available for those who love to garden or who want a big back yard to hold barbecues and play around in.

 Unlike some developments, Caracol Creek's streets are lined with sidewalks, making it both easy and safe for kids to ride their bikes or for people to go for a walk, a run, or a jog. Caracol Creek's sidewalks also make it easier to take pets around the block for an evening walk.

 

Caracol Creek's students are serviced by Northside Independent School District, which includes Stevens High School, Gregory Luna Middle School, Paul W. Ott Elementary and Clarence Galm Elementary Schools. During the last school year, all of the Northside ISD's schools were rated at least academically acceptable and many were rated exemplary.  The Northside Independent School District(NISD) is the 4th largest school district in Texas with over 85,000 students. There are over 5800 teachers with a student teacher ratio of about 16:1, in the last 12 years they have spent nearly $2 billion on new facilities.

 Specifically, the Northside ISD has forty-two exemplary schools, thirty-seven recognized schools, and only ten academically acceptable schools. Students continue to score higher than the state average at every grade level and in every subject area. In addition, Paul W. Ott Elementary is only a half a mile away from Caracol Creek, and there are two brand new schools to serve Caracol Creek’s resident children: Behlau Elementary and Brennan High School.  Due to the growth rate in the area some schools fill up and are "capped" so this info may change, call NSID for more information.

Some major employers mere minutes away from Caracol Creek include QVC San Antonio, American Funds, the Medical Center at 151 and Military Drive, Chase, Citigroup, and Wells Fargo. Caracol Creek’s largest employer is the closest military base, Lackland Air Force Base, which is less than fifteen miles away, which still puts it well within reach of a daily commute for the Caracol Creek residents who work there.

 Within a mile of Caracol Creek there is an HEB, a Wal-Mart, and a Kohl’s. Caracol Creek is very convenient to the Potranco Village Shopping Center, the Alamo Ranch Shopping Center, Ingram Park Mall, and Westlakes Mall. The Bandera Pointe Shopping Center and The Shops at La Cantera are a little further away than the two closest malls, but are still very accessible to Caracol Creek residents. An eight hundred thousand square foot shopping complex is scheduled to be built at 1604 and Potranco as well. Caracol Creek residents will never be without a place to shop. The Caracol Creek neighborhood also has many recreational facilities nearby, including gyms, golf courses, and Sea World.
